Stayed in the King Junior Suite for 2 nights and loved it! Super clean, comfy bed, and great dining nearby. Parking was around the block, but worth it for the cozy vibe. Just a heads-up, the train horns might interrupt your sleep!

during my stay, I loved being just a short walk from Lakeside Park, where I enjoyed scenic views and a relaxing stroll. The nearby Pawling Bread Company was perfect for grabbing a delicious breakfast before hitting the sights, making my weekend trip thoroughly enjoyable.

We were totally unprepared for the relentless train noise that rattled the building every 45-60 minutes, blaring its horn at all hours. It made sleeping nearly impossible, despite the sound machine and earplugs provided. Avoid room 21 at all costs. it’s right at the top of the stairs where you can hear every creaky floorboard and passerby.

Consider using earplugs if you stay in front-facing rooms, as train noise can be disruptive at night.

It was just a nice choice for a weekend in Pawling with good value. The room had a charming rustic vibe that felt homely. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper to avoid train noise at night.

However, the hotel sits right on an active passenger rail line that rattles the building with trains coming through every hour, each time blasting their horns at a nearby crossing. Additionally, reaching the third-floor King Junior Suite involves three steep flights of stairs, which can be a challenge for older guests, particularly given the low ceilings and the awkward queen bed accompanied by a small side bed under the eaves.

Our stay at the Station Inn was everything we hoped for after bustling NYC. The local pubs were charming, and the hospitality was unparalleled. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable, making it our cozy haven. We appreciated Susan’s attention to detail, evidenced in everything from the coffee available in the hallway to the delightful conversations we had with her at a local Irish pub.
